Snowy Day

There's snow on the ground and it's freezing outside. The sidewalk is slippery. How am I supposed to start my work out routine today? I guess I can settle for indoor stretching and calisthenics.  Besides the work out doesn't do much without the proper diet......and I had cheese and crackers for breakfast. Of course, starting now is better than putting it off until tomorrow...or next year.

Did I mention I LOVE the snow? Watching it fall yesterday was so wonderful. I love the way it blankets everything in a pure white. Covers up all the dormant, dead looking shrubs and dusts them with tiny ice crystals. I had the most wonderful day dream about riding Teddy bareback through the snow yesterday. Of course it was just a dream since I do not ride and Teddy was a wild, curious infant in the snow yesterday.

Here's another goal...when I lose a little weight I am going to learn to ride.

Chitty Bang Bang!

My boobs droop, my butts not tight, my hips shake from the left to the right.....

Hmmm! What to do about that situation. Boob job, liposuction, short skirt?  Probably not the right solution for me.

Diet, exercise and the hula. Getting closer I think to the right solution, but that blasted hoop always falls down.

I think I don't need a complete reinvention of me.....just a tune up.  How about half my size in 6 months? That sounds like a goal. I think I'll choose that one.  Half my size....what will I do then....(imagine thought bubbles floating above my head here).

I will walk Yellowstone National Park with my children this summer.
I will wear shorts not capri pants.
I will swim at the pool.
My friends will ask me to lunch and I WILL eat salad with dressing on the side. (Bubble POP)!

Oh how I want the results with out the effort! Best place to start is the beginning so here is my beginning...AGAIN!
